Another Delay

The Dragon spacecraft which was supposed to launch on May 10 has been delayed, again.

NASA is supporting this private spacecraft of Space X with funds, and this delay is apparently a software glitch.

Unfortunately this is about the third month in a row that it’s launch has been delayed, and until we can iron out the bugs, Russia, Europe and Japan have to pick up the slack.

That is a big comedown from the heyday of the United States when we had the world enthralled by our space efforts. Now we depend upon technologically backward nations, who are in no better financial shape than we are.
