Inauguration Comment

I just wanted to convey my impressions of the morning.

 

First, I slept in, and when I turned on the TV, Pastor Rick Warren said…”you are the compassionate and merciful one…” (the term Messiah jumped immediately to mind), but even in a stupor my trigger finger reacted quickly enough and the TV jumped to the Weather Channel.

 

That channel covered the actual swearing-in, so I did not miss a historic moment, but was spared what I must assume was serial worshiping.
