Alice! Your Table is Waiting….

The prize today (so far) goes to the Merry Liberals who ask that ONLY a certain segment of federal workers (Republican CongressCritters) forgo their employer-subsidized health benefits.

These are the same benefits given to people who “work” for the federal government, and the so-called “petition” asks that ONLY Republicans give them up because those CongressCritters oppose giving those same benefits to those who DO NOT WORK FOR THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT.

Giving benefits to those who not work at all is such a universal goal of the Liberals that they cannot distinguish between pay and benefits for those who work, and pay and benefits for those who do not work.

Left to their own devices, Liberals would expropriate everything from everyone who does anything, and distribute those ill-gotten gains to people who produce nothing.

(At least, until it all runs out: See Ireland, Britain, Spain, Portugal…and California.  Germans are now well onto this scam, since they are the almost sole producers left, and are balking at the continued bailout.)

What do you do when “can do,” can’t?

This morning Britain is facing a 40% slash in public funds (students are rioting — still), Ireland is on the brink of financial disaster, Greece is rioting still under the pain of austerity, with Portugal and Spain next.

The Second Law of Street Economics is, “Nobody gets it if there ain’t any!” — which is poor English but proper economics.

Public service  unions have driven us to the brink at home and abroad because they always want “more” and the compliant politicians — ever in search of union votes and money — have round heels.

But eventually they run out of someone else’s money.

I always thought that liberals were Euro-Centric — just loved everything Europe did (except, possibly skipping showers), but liberals just refuse to look at where Europe is TODAY! Have not seen a SINGLE remark from a liberal on ANYTHING European since they lauded the European healthcare, which is about to get uniformly CUT!

That is where we are.

Time to put this fat kitty (government)on a diet!
